hello all,i am new to this site and in need of some help.i have a 1997 dodge ram 1500 when i turn on the cruise the light turns on but wiil not set at any spped and the horn does not work either any help woul be great.

 

You could check the fuses, but that sounds like a bad clockspring. Check with the Dodge dealer, some Chryslers from the late 90's had a recall on the clockspring.
