I put on the PA lift and the most difficult part was the bumpers, but it still only took just over 4 hours to complete with 2 of us doing the work. It was an automatic so there is not as much work to be done, if you have a stick you will defiantly need a little more time for the linkage.

im doing the same thing you've done over the next few months but talked to a off road shop and they said not to crank the tbs cause of damage to the cv joints but i think thats for people who do serious off roading constantly and don't know how suspension works have you had any problems with your cv joints or axles in the front after cranking tbs and did you use the stock rims with your 33's ?

Okay I know this is kind of long winded but here goes
I have stock 15” rims on the truck, but am patiently waiting for one of the junk yards around to get in a dak with 16 or 17 rims that I would like to get for the truck. I occasionally get into shale and with the extra side walls that I currently have it can create problems. I have had a couple of friends state to leave the 15’s on the truck as it looks good but I am looking more towards the functional usage of the rims.
As for CV and axles, I have never had any concerns with them and have had it up in the hills several times without any concerns with wear at this point. I do not do any serious rock climbing either so that also saves on the wear and tear for the suspension.
I did do some research and I was advised by a couple of people that if you do turn up the tb’s to much you will not be able to get a good alignment on the front end and that may be what is tearing up some of the CV’s and axles, so make sure you don’t turn up the tb’s to much.
