i tinted my tails awhile back and then went to make them darker last week and clear them, wasn't paying attention when i was doin the third brake light and put too much on and the paint cracked all to hell, so at some point i need to sand it down and reedo it lol but its awesome

I actually left the 3rd brake light alone for safety purposes. I figured if at any point the brake lights are hard to see, at least there's a third that is guaranteed visible.

Did u actually look at them when the brake is pressed they look like exactly the same as stock and I gotta make it match my truck urs is red so u can get away with it mines black so it would look weird having the one red all I need to do is get some clear corners and my truck will be all black or silver I want no color.

I did 3 light coats of the vht stuff and I love it. I have had it on for about 8 months and I backed into a nice size top of a tree at camp it scratched it a little bit but none of the red ever showed threw I just buffed it and it looks like new again. The only thing is you said you had to take your window tint off cause of laws and if so you might not want to do this its not to cop friendly but my town doesnt even have a cop any more so thats why I did that and 20% window tint

Yea that looks awesome I have to say dodgeramguy, my buddies uncle is a police officer so ill check with him before I put it on.

ohh and its illegal in all states lol, ive gotta pick up a set of cheap replacements by October so i can pass inspection

aslong as you can see the light from 300 feet i think you are good. but that depends of in you have some commonwealth bs like abels.

yea thats the same for here but thats as far as the cops are concerned, but the stupid law makers have that be illegal for inspections, i hate them inspections serve no purpose
