turbos are only for two things ricers with fart cans on the back and diesels
if i had a diesel i would upgrade that turbo in a heartbeat

Turbos are way more efficient though. Super chargers are powered by the belt system and thus drain HP but add back more than what is lost. While a turbo utilizes a power source that doesn't rob any HP. I't be a tough call but I think I'd go with a turbo set up if I was to build a high powered V8.
