any truth to the ford 4.6l cams working in the 4.7l
just wondering if anybody has heard about using 4.6l mustang cams in our 4.7l looking at pics of the two cams they look from what i see to be identical

if anybody has a pic of a extra 4.7l cam or a extra one im trying to see if the 4.6l cams will work in the 4.7l if you look at the to links they look really similar

Depends on the measurements. If the measurements for the bearings are the same or within the same tolerances, then more likely yes it could theoretically work.
Also depends on the cam lobes and valve timing. A lot of variables.
Why do you want to put ford cams in your dodge motor? Just curious what your reasoning is.

once you price out the 4.7l cams and the 4.6l cams you will see why and there is alot more cams avalible for the 4.6l cause right now only a couple companys make 4.7l cams if they do work it will be a cheaper upgrade more people can do
