Ok I still haven't been able to find out what is causing my truck (2000 4.7) to cause the Auto Shutdown Relay (ASR) to go crazy & not the truck not crank. We've checked all grounds, checked all wires & replaced the actual relay & not seeing any issues with the wiring. I'm now leaning toward it's probably the computer. Does anyone know if there is a way I can test the ECU to see if it is my problem before having to buy one? I figure I'll have to suck it up & pay a tow bill & tow it to the dealer so they can hook it to the diagnostic computer. I just hate to pay a tow bill twice.
