no recall that i have heard of. most 2gens on this forum have had problems with it, including me. i just sanded it down with 2000 grit paper and used some duplicolor clear coat. for a small area it worked good.

No recall that I am aware of. FWIW, I have not had any PAINT problems.

My problem is RUST, which is kind of a paint problem, I suppose.

There`s two spots on the roof of my truck where`s its looking really cloudy and about to peel and I can notice my hood starting to go. I`m definately getting a paint job soon. I think it`s a common problem on some dodge`s. My aunt has an Avenger from around the same year that`s black and her clear coat is peeling in a bunch of spots.

My paint is still good but I seriously think my truck was repainted at one time. My biggest problem is rust on the bed(wheel wells) and under the cab right on the corner. I think this summer Im doing like a 3 grand project on it (5 speed swap, paint, and rust control along with other little things)

My truck has rust forming around on the same spot on the bed that has only showed up recently and it's really starting to annoy me lol. In the past few months I've had the rust on the bed come through and the front bumper got that pitted rust look so commonly known to these dodge's. As well as the paint peeling. I'm definately due for a paint job. At the end of the month I'll ve done everything mechanical. Then comes body and paint, I can't wait! Here's a picture of the worst clear coat spot on my truck.
