Yeah, the back seat is small, but it's really not MEANT to have people sitting back there a lot. Not to mention, have you ever seen the backseat of a ranger or s10??? They have the fold down seat on the side. It's 10x more worthless.

I definitly didn't buy the truck for the backseat. I bought it so I could actually put stuff back there when going to and from school.

THis kind of annoys me but meh. I dont have power windows or locks(one more thing you have to repair) and in turn there is no dome light on, or beeping/dinging when you open the door with the lights turned on, or when the truck is idleing.

Weird I know!

Wait until you have a kid :P

The S10 and Ranger aren't the same class of truck as the Dakota, they are compact trucks, the Dodge is in the same realm as the Toyota Tacoma and Nissan Frontier.

No car seats (that i have found) will fit in the back seat of the Dakota due to the way the bench is broken up, and once the kid is out of the car seat to a booster seat they still can't sit in the back because their heads are directly in line with the glass window so if you hit the breaks they slam off the window... not a good thing at all

Its just an absolutely horrible design, dodge should be ashamed

oh and I thought of another great one - anyone ever have the pleasure of removing the air intake and then having to try to put it back in? what the hell?

Why on earth would you buy a CC dakota then if you wanted to put kids in the back?? Did you not think about this when you bought it, or did you not have the kid then?

You should have gotten or should get a QC.

On my 5.2 I had my air intake off only problem with it I had is they have a plastic nut that holds the air hat on but I fixed that other than that it is easy to take in and out.

My A/C is not working. I think the leak is in the evaporator core. Too difficult to fix it myself and lots of $$ to fix it by a shop.
