My head unit supports sirius so I dont have to keep that in my truck anymore allthough it was a bit nicer cause I had the sportster 5 and I liked the features that I could use. I had mine mounted up on the windshield seemed like the best place for it. I though about putting it where yours was but just seemed to be in the way for me.

I have a 2000 dakota and my mom's boyfriend has an 01 durango, I love the dash in that truck way better then the one in mine! Does everybody with a 97-00 Dakota have a problem with the mounting bracket for their headunit not being flush with the dash, it drives me crazy! I`m going to pull it apart again and shim it so it fits more snug.

Have you ever noticed that sometimes it's hard to get the control for air to do what you want it to do? (I know alittle off topic) But when you put in on just the feet sometimes it needs to be like in between and takes some messing with to get what you want it to do?

Might just be me, but at times it seems like it can be a pain to get it to do exactly what you want it to.
