Cool Questions?

Hi all,
I have a 2004 Dodge Dakota SLT 4x4 with a 4.7L, the truck runs great but from time to time i noticed it would be hard to start. For example, i would drive to work & the truck would stay in the parking lot for 8 hours till i finish work. When it's time to go home, i would crank it over but no start, i would try it again but this time i would have to press on the accelerator to get it started. It wouldn't matter if it's hot or cold outside & it only does this periodically so not too sure what too look for? The truck only has 60 000km so i wouldn't suspect it needs a tune up either than that it runs well. So if anyone can give me any ideas that would be great.
Thanks
