Default jumpy issue on interstate

so i have an 02 dakota 4x4 70K miles and nothing big has gone wrong with it yet (knock on wood) but i have seen an increasing problem with the suspension on it as i drive down the interstate or any high speeds . my problem is that if i hit a few pot holes that are together it causes my rear end to feel like its jumping around kinda fish tailing behind me and today i was taking a right turn a little faster than the recommended speed and it felt as if my front left wheel was getting wobbly and going to fly off but if im going straight and hit pot holes it just jumps around a little but if i take my hand off the wheel and just let the truck ride it out its perfectly fine like it doesn't jerk or anything but still jumps around a little . i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or similar problem my dad drives an 05 1500 ram 150K miles and his does it a little but mine does it alot worse any ideas

My truck is the same way with the rear end. there is this road I travel almost everyday and on the one part in the middle of the turn they cut a trench accross the road for water a pipe and refilled it now that the ground has settled a little bit the trench is a lil bit lower then the rest of the road and when I hit it about 40 I can feel my back end like kick sideways but im pretty sure it just cause of the hard suspension cause our 07 ram with 14,000 miles does it to just not as bad.

so i checked my ball joints like you said and there fine nothing wrong with them even my tie rods are fine nice and tight oh and by the way i have had the front end off the ground a few times due to un expected train tracks and a few dirt hills i know thats not good for my shocks but that would more just cause premature failure and by the looks of it ball joints are fine and tie rods are fine and i plan on cranking my tbs could that help at all ?

u guys gotta remember these are trucks with practically no weight in them especially in the rear mine jumps around as well cause of the firm suspension and lack of weight, my truck gets sketchy on fast off ramps as well but thats cause its a truck, u can't really drive it like a sports car(even tho i still do lol)

thats true i have noticed if im hauling anything with some weight that it doesn't do it near as much but when im empty it does it constantly may look at getting one of those truck bladders for the bed so i can keep some weight in it so i can ride smooth
