Default What are some other cars that have compatible engines
with a 1998 dodge dakota? Had the 5.2L Mag in it.

1998-2003 Durango's, 1993-1998 Grand Cherokee's and 1994-2001 Ram's had the same 5.2L engine's in them I believe.

2001 rams still had the 5.2 my buddy has a 01 1500 ram with a 5.2 in it.

EDIT. Yes some vans do have the 5.2s in them. Also 2000 was the last year for 5.2's in durango

So is my 2000 Dakota Sport 4.7L swappable for the 5.2L V8?

dont know why u would wanna switch the 4.7 is better :P and if u do wanna go through the hassle why not at least put a 5.9 in there
