Default Mounting Lights...

Other than roll bars, roof racks, and grill guards...where do people mount Hellas and lights like them?

Can we mount behind the grille like the Ram guys?

it all depends on how creative the user is. i've seen people mount them on mirrors. since i own a 1st gen dakota i can't really say whether or not you can. also i haven't worked on one long enough to know. you still will be able to even if you dont have that bar going across the front like the ram guys, you'll just have to make something up. just be creative.
it also depends on how shallow the light is(depthwise)

You can put them in the lower grille. That would look pretty cool, but they would be low so I'm not sure how much further they would light up.

Why are you looking for more light any way?

Well I know on my truck it wont fit behind the grille trust me I wanted to do that so bad I have a spare grille and might get smaller lights and trim the grille to fit thinking about it now if you dont have a/c it would prob work since the condenser wouldnt be in the way.

I don't really know, I figured it would be a good discussion.

Well if it is like my truck then you def need more light I went from barely being able to see to 6,000k 55w hids best thing I have ever bought for my truck I dont have to use high beams that often cause my lows are 10x better than what my stock high beams were.
