Default Suspension lift 01 dakota 4x4

Hey,
So before you say search or check the faqs, there is no info on suspension lifts for 01 dakotas that isn't outdated.

As far as I can find no company still makes kits for my year/model dakota.

Any help on doing this myself, finding a kit, or anything like that, would be greatly appreciated!

Also a quick question, this info is in the faqs but kinda confused, what would be better a body lift and leveling kit or body lift and torsion bar adjustment? They both accomplish the same thing right? But after looking around the leveling kit is better for the truck right?

Thanks guys!

EDIT: and if anyone has pics of suspension lifts on there 00-03 dakotas post them up!

A leveling and torsion bar crank are essentially the same thing. The only difference is the a leveling kit uses re-keyed torsion keys so that the torsion bar is advanced thus lifting the truck. However, thats what cranking the torsion bars does too. A leveling kit might offer a slightly more comfortable ride but I'm still not convinced about that after my dad got one to level his Sierra.

That one is a real suspension lift. Unfortunately, there is no 5 inch lift for your year Dakota. You could get the rancho lift and a 2 inch body though.

Not without some serious fabrication. If you're going to try and make you own lift you might as well swap out to a solid front axle and lift it from there.
