Default Lack of forced induction

I have a 04 4.7L dakota, and it seems like there are no methods of superchargering or turbochargering besides the STS (DIY Turbo). Could I hook up an previous or Future year Super/Turbocharger? Supercharger would be preferred if possible.

Thanks

ive seen a durango witha M112 supercharger. paxton novii (sp) has one for the 3 gens but probably works for the 2gens. KB used to make one for the dak.

Alright Just read the thread, And it didn't help a lot but thanks. So Could I use a Paxton (1000/2000?). Those Kenne Bell's are pretty freakin hard to find, and when you IF you do find one its gonna be crazy expensive.

yeah, you could just to a full custom turbo or one of the centrifugal s/c. probably way easier to install than a custom twin screw.

Yea thats sorta was what I was thinking. I know KRC performance and STS has a turbo setup but how well would that work? I have a single outlet exhaust, So twin turbo isn't an option

as long as you dont do serious offroading, the STS setup is the way to go. Superchargers rob power in 2 big ways: belt drag and how much heat they create.

Ok, If I go the Turbo route I will probably buy a kit of KRC for 3k. What size turbo would I want to buy? and what do you consider serious offroading?
