Broken OD switch wire; please help!

OK - I have an idea...
You basically have two options, best I can tell.
1. You can start removing that tape crap that holds all of those wires together and look for the other half of the broken wire...
2. Just get some wire, splice it into the broken wire, and run it through the dash to the back of the switch. Of course I have no idea where the switch is or how one would go about removing it, or how one would possibly snake a new wire through the cluster to get to the hole...
Other than that, I really don't think you have another option here...
