Default Steering Squeal

Ok so When I am driving sometimes all of a sudden it will start to squeal randomly. its not a constant thing but it does it from time to time. Also when i turn it makes a soft squeal noise. I think I might have to replace my serpentine belt for the first problem but for the second one i have almost no idea. Maybe Rack and Pinnion problems, ball joints?

^^^^^Bad answer if you cant help dont say anything at all^^^^^^

Anyway I would say for the first question you need a new belt and while you have it off check to make sure the pulleys turn smooth as long as they are not grinding and really had to turn then you are ok. Second question do you hear a squeal when you just normally turn or is it only when you are making sharp turns? First thing is check your power steering fluid make sure its not low and its a nice tanish dark color if its a dark black I suggest getting it flushed and have new stuff added.

It fluid looks ok and it squeals every time I turn. Could it somehow be from my shocks because I still need to get new ones after I put on my lift.

Dont see how your shocks would have effect on it but you might need a new pump.

Well my grandpa was telling me about when he was a kid. That he had the same problem and it turned out it was the shock squeaking some how. So I was just wondering.
