i pay around $75 to fill it from near empty, i get about 180 miles, mostly city driving. using 87 octane, is it worth it to get a superchip? is it a noticeable power increase/ MPG if i drive like a grandma?

Thats what I'm sayin. even if it is just 1 mpg for basically nothing why not. If anything I'll have something to use for target practice if it don't work lol.

Yah but there's plenty of ppl on her with the same truck and same size tires that get cloe to 300 per tank, I know they do affect it but not that much

Ok so I bought a stupid Tornado too. Didn't seem to gain or lose any. I have had it for a while and decided to put it in backwards because to me it looks like the Tornado action they advertise would be better this way. First tank and gained 1.5mpg (close to 10%), nothing to write home about, but who woulda thought. I'll post again after the second tank.

Haha I'll try that too. I'd be upset if I had paid full price for it cuz those things are expensive not to work.

I paid 1/2 price or less for mine, figured if it helped even a little I would try it. Still can't believe it seems like it works backwards. Like I said I'll run a couple more tanks and post my results.

I just got over 500 miles to a tank of gas....but i have the 3.7 not the 4.7. I was amazed at how far I got on a tank of gas....averaged 23.5 mpg on the trip. It was from Sarasota, FL to Marathon, FL (in the Fl Keys) and then back to almost Ft. Myers....total of 503 miles before I filled up, and when I filled up my gas light had just come on meaning I still had about 1/8 of a tank left. I put about 21 gallons back into the tank (I don't stop pumping when the pump turns off- you can fit another gallon and a half in there if you do it slowly enough).

Average speed on the interstate was 70-75...only mods I have is a Fleabay CAI and a Dynomax super turbo muffler and changed the spark plugs to Autolites 3923's. I was seriously amazed at the mileage I got. On the way back I was alot heavier on the throttle (was trying to make good time) and still got around 21 mpg.

Granted this is all w/ the V-6 though.
