Post Door locks will not work correctly on 2000 Dakota

I have a 2000 Dakota Quad Cab that the door locks will not lock or unlock. They make a bad sound everytime you try them, the front drivers lock will not lock but will unlock. The drivers back door will not unlock but will lock. They will do the same by switch or remote. The back door has been doing this for sometime and now the front door is doing it.

check the switches you may have a faulty one also check your relay, I ran into the same issue with mine(replaced the relays)...is this using the master switch on the drivers door or on all the switches?

If they are making a buzzing/clicking sound then the door lock solenoids are bad. Had that happen to me as well. The buzzing/clicking obnoxious sound is irritating...

The bad news is, you can't buy after market solenoids, because dodge designed them as part of the door latch assembly. You have to get OEM's, either new or used. Mine, brand new from the dealer cost about $80.
