Default 4 wheel drive instructions

I know pretty pathetic...I've used 4 wheel drive and I just want to make sure I'm not killing the transfer case.

Can someone give me the instructions to shift into 4 wheel drive? I'm looking for both low and high and going back to 2 wheel drive. The manual is vague at best.

Much appreciation...

for swithcing to 4hi, anytime at speeds under 45 i think. for 4low, stop, put it in neutral then switch it.

Yeah, to expand on that...

2hi to 4hi and 4hi to 2hi- any time, moving or stopped
4hi to N and 4lo to N - any time, moving or stopped
N to 4hi and N to 4lo - stopped, with the transmission in P or N, or rolling at a very, very slow crawl with the transmission in N

For all shifts - do not hesitate... move the shifter hard and fast

For any shift done while stopped, if the transfer case hesitates, roll forward and/or backward until it engages.

I thought it was 55mph but I could be wrong anyway why do you need 4wd if you are going 55 unless you drive like me and pass all the idiots doing 20mph when there is snow on the roads
