i bought that 98' dakota with the 5speed v6 last friday, contacted my insurance agent saturday morning, and took the truck over to teh dmv/emissions to get tested and registered. while i was on my way to the dmv some a-hole ran a stop sign t-bone my new truck and i went rolling sideways down a small hill. it pissed me off. my buddy (who was right behind me in his car) had to restrain me from yanking the guy out and teaching him a lesson.

the saddest part of the whole senario was the guy who hit me had no insurance and my insurance is only going to give me what i paid for it.

fortunatly, i only have a few scratches on my left arm. i didn't have my camera with me at the time, it was the one time i forgot it. i'm going tomorrow to fill out some info on the truck and to get some stuff out of it, so i'll try to get a couple of pics for ya.

I thought about that but, all the 2nd gen parts trucks around here still sell for 3 grand(them fools).

 

thats the point. buy it back from insurance for whatever they want, (which is usually stupid cheap) then part it out for a profit!

 

oh...lol i was thinking about buying it back and rebuilding it...that would work if i can find some omm to store, then i can find a 4x4 one...
