Default Noob question
Just bought an 99 Dakota about 1 week ago it has a V6 the CEL came on has a code PO783. Does anyone have a clue how to fix this something about a Solenoid?

p0783 3-4 shift soo, no rpm drop @ 3-4 shift


transmission defective
transmission 3-4 solenoid wiring harness defective
transmission fluid burnt or oil pan has excessive debris


id start with fluid, its the cheapest
