Default Spark Plugs

How hard is it to change the spark plugs on a 2000 4.7L? Without having a whole lot of car know-how... lol

Not sure about the 4.7L...but I just changed the plugs on my 3.7 the other day and I have been told that the 3.7 is basically the same engine as the 4.7 with 2 cylinders chopped off. IT wasn't necessarily hard, but it was different. MY engine (and probably yours too) doesn't have plug wires, it has these weird little spark-plug individual distributor things on each plug (I have no clue what they actually are, but that's what I call them). All you need is a deep socket spark plug socket and I think a 10mm socket to remove the plug distributor type things. Just unplug the electrical clip from the distrubutor things, unscrew the 10mm nut, and pull the distributor thing off. The spark plug is down in the hole where the distributor thing was.

That wasnt a great description I know, but maybe someone else will chime in here and make it a little easier to understand. Really, its not hard at all. Just kind of weird.

Well I have the spark plug socket and all that. I just want to know if it'd be possible for me to do it myself instead of paying 90 in labor. I could do alot more with that 90 dollars lol.

one of the plugs is under the AC lines... should I move them or will it hurt it?

Yeah just remove from clips and then you can jam a socket extension right between them, at least thats how I did it.
