It's not really the lift but the tires you use. If you still use the stock tire size there is no reason for you to loose gas milage except for the aerodynamic aspect. But that is fractional.

If you go and through 33s or something on there, then you will loose more. How much? I'm not really sure but I'd guess 2 mpg. That's purely a guess though.

Hahah, I'd love to see 15 anywhere....I have a 2003 quad cab w/ a 5.9 and have gotten a very consistent 13-14 mpg from the day I bought it. I added a 3" body lift and a set of 305/70/16(33's) about a yr ago and saw no change.....I will give my truck that, it's very consistently ****ty gas mileage, even towing doesn't change it at all. But o was just getting ready to make a post concerning my current mpg, check it out

It is impossible to do the above mods and MPG remain unchanged.

Ive got 2002 qc 5.9 and i get about average 15 on highway and suprisingly about 16 in city. Dont know why? Who knows. You also have to factor in any extra weight by lift and tires to.

How fast do you drive on the highway? How fast do you drive in the city, is it a semi constant speed?

Is the name "Madison" synonymous with physics now?

I have blocks in the rear, cranked torsion bars and tires are larger than stock. I bought Yokohama GeoLandar A/T's (great tires) that have a decent rolling resistance and don't think mileage dropped more than 1-2 mpgs, but like I heard somebody else say "I didn't buy a truck for mileage anyway" Don't know if that is normal or the Yoko's saved me some.
