How hard is it to install a body lift. I am gonna be doing it tommarow by myself i just want to know what i am going to espect. I am only 16, i got saturday and sunday to do it. Also what tools will i need to put a lift on. i got my lift from performance accessories. My truck is a 2003 dodge dakota.

 

Use the search button at the top of the page, there are ALOT of threads on this topic. Before you even start taking ANYTHING apart, get a good penetrating oil to spray the bolts with, usually 2-3 days before you start on the bodyift.

Hey man I have about 8 hours in my 3 in body lift but it was worth it. Only problem I had was getting the bed aligned right. for some reason the holes were oblong from the factory & the bed kept moving over when you would tightening it down. What I had to do was use my wire welder close off the hole so it would quit sliding over it was just the front 4 holes , kind of a pain but worth it.
