My 2004 Dakota 4.7 AWD. Sold new in Montreal, Canada. Imported to Belgium, then to France. Bought by me in Lille, north-east France (on the Belgian border) and now living in Pontivy, north-west France.
My former trucks include a 2008 Dakota 3.7 V6 loaded with every available option and a few extras, a 2000 Dakota 3.9 V6 that was only used on a USAF base in Germany and bought by me with just 13000kms on the clock, and a 1997 Ford F-150 4.2 V6 which had a nice set of 23-inch chrome wheels.

Heres my 2000 dakota that Ive been working on for the last 8 months. 3 inch body lift, 2 inch rear blocks and 2 inch "torsion bar"lift with 33x12.5x15's on the stock rims with 1 and 1/4 inch wheel spacers......which still rub just a bit sometimes. Built a new rear bumper and a back rack.....which now has a 42 inch light bar on top....next is some body work and paint once winter is over.

Newbie! Intro!
1999 Dodge Dakota SXT XCab
Hello Dakota Family! Been lurking through the 2nd generation forum, plenty useful information! Would like to throw in a picture of my first Dodge Truck. Probably the only Red Dakota in Guam. Lol!
I'll be using this for weekend warrior projects!
Just purchased from a friend. Came with the following:
Unknown Cat-back Exhaust
Unknown Air Intake
20" Blingers all around! Can't full clock, no U-Turn allowed. Rubs!
After purchased:
Fixed A/C, high side port was the leaking culprit.
Fixed door handle, currently using 12ga. solid wire to pull/open from inside. **Trying to figure out how to meld plastic to secure new handle. Lol!
Changed out the DUBS for 17"s, what they had locally, much more drivable now!
Next is electrical(lights) and why my heater core is leaking coolant.
I'm currently full-time in the HVAC field, but also all round common sense DIY-er! Looking forward conversing with you guys and girl owners!

2001 R/T, headers, K&N intake, Borla exhaust. Other then that it's pretty much stock except for the new paint.

After looking at all the beautiful Dakota's here I'm embarrassed to post mine. It's a box stock '01 with around 62K on the clock. I've owned it since new, late August '01. It serves as a work vehicle for me and has suffered the indignities of a dented/bent tailgate as well as the front of the box. Those two issues are almost nothing compared to the horrific paint that I am dealing with. My truck suffers from a serious case of Vitiligo. The roof has been going for years but a few years ago the hood really started flaking an along the doors at the windows and the front fenders it looks like a 2 tone truck! I really want to get it repainted, but I was quoted about $4500 for the body work and paint and that is a number I'm not ready to spend. I love the truck and wouldn't mind keeping it another 15 years. (At 67 that is no idle threat either!! I'll be 82!) I may figure out a way to gather the pennies up and do the job, but right now I have to contend with a really ugly vehicle!

Picked this one up after my 94 dakotas engine blew last week. 99 Dakota with only 75,000 miles and no rust. Already made a few small changes to it. Planning on doing a lot more later on.
When I first got it
And after yesterday. Took off running boards and switched the wheels from the 94 over to her. I think the old chrome looks much better on it.
