Yah, I'm in the same ball park as you. I get about 11MPG with all my stuff... I really don't know how theses trucks can get such bad mileage. But I'm doing a HEMI swap either this summer or fall, So i'm pretty jacked

Puting a different muffler will not make your gas mileage go down, it even might go up a bit. Its the opposite if there is no muffler at all to create back pressure.

By all means please put a glass pack or any aftermarket muffler on your truck, it will sound 100% better and increase your man rep!

Sweet! Thanks guys. I'll see about getting a glass pack tomorrow after work. I think I have a friend that can get me one for cheap and he'll install it for me free. I appreciate it!

If you do cut off your muffler under the bed put a turn down on it. If you dont your going to have hot exhaust blowing straight back onto everything behind it which will melt plastics and if you have a anti rust coating it will start melting that off as well so do your self a favor and put a turn down on it there only 3 bucks or so then another couple bucks for a clamp.
