Default sheering lower shock bolts

99 dakota 4x4 5.2. i have 2.5" blocks in the back, and cranked the torsion bars all the way, then backed out like 3 turns.. but now i SHEERING the bottom bolts off the shocks, it has happened 4 times. i am having trouble finding shocks the a 2" lift for these trucks all i seem to find are ones for 5.5" lifts

does anyone know a shock that is just like 3" longer then stock? and i dont want garbage ones if i can help it but i have been driving with no front shocks for a week, and i am starting to get motion sickness lol

i'm unsure if your shocks are different than the ones on the 4x2s but autostores sell extenders for them

I think I saw somewhere when I ordered my ranchos that u could contact them and get longer ones. Most shock companies prolly wouldn't have a problem making longer ones

I still swear by the Rough Country's after having them for 2 years. They are made at the same factory as Rancho (look real similar with almost same specs) and the company will give you a deal if you tell them you saw their shocks on JcWhitney for cheaper (don't tell em I said that ) They make a set that is fine for what you need, just call them.

you could always do like the rednecks around me, cut the bar and weld in an extension...
