^^ Ahh that stuff is for condenser coils, not evaporator coils.

condenser cleaner is usually pretty caustic, hazardous to breathe, and should be rinsed off. evaporator cleaner is usually "self rinsing" ,wont foam up as much as the condenser stuff will, and its not hazardous to breathe as air runs over the evap. coil into the cabin.

lol thats why it smelled funny, i just went out and used a small spray bottle to rinse it off, the stuff said its not hazardous to metal at least, i think the next thing ill do at some point is take off the blower motor to see if its clogged and then take the dash apart to make sure the doors are opening fully

Gotta be careful about the plastic too. Overtime that stuff will eat away plastic if it's left to stay in contact with it.

so yesterday on my way to work i was freaking out cause i had no ac whatsoever, when i got there i looked at the port and i forgot to plug in that set of wires , what is that set of wires? obviously its something important

I have a 1500 that the ac fan is inop and no power at the fuse. I have heard there is a fuseable link somewhere?

ok i want to clean my evaporater but i looked everywhere even ripped up the carpet.
where is that plug? on the passenger floorboard i didn't see anything.
is it different in the older interiors before 2001?

yea i checked there too, you didn't have to move anything?
anyone else know where the the evaporater core is on 2000 and
older models?
