Need some AC help.
So i had to cave and switch to ac this week cause its been 100+
well my air has been weird, when ever i have air on it doesn't seem to be blowing hard enough, whether its on heat or cold on a scale of 10 the two center vents are prolly an 8 but hte left and rights are maybe a 2, one of my loyal customers at work, works for treadquarters and he thinks it might be the compressor. what do u guys think, i would replace the compressor myself but i dont know how to get the r134a out, if it turns out to be the compressor ill prolly have him get the r134a out and ill do the rest
the ac does blow cold, it was bone dry when i bought it but i recharged it and it prolly has a slow leak in it, but i dont think its a related problem.

Hi, first of all, in my opinion, if you are blowing cold air, it is not your compressor.I believe your problem is in the ventilation system. Check your blower motor.Does it sound the same as it always has? If you pop your hood, you will also be able to hear it better. You might have a blockage in your vent system. Maybe the linkage that directs the air is not opening and closing proper. It could be one of a number of things, the point is, don't start tearing your air conditioner apart for this problem.
As for your air conditioner, next time you top it up, use the refrigerant with purple dye, that way you can see where your leak is coming. If you do happen to find your leak, you will have to go somewhere were they can evacuate your a/c system, (this is law), you do the repairs, then take it back so they can do a leak test, and fill your system. Sometimes it is cheaper to just add a can every summer.
If you are lucky (unlike me), your leak is not in the evaporator core. That is the one place where you can't see it leaking, and the hardest to change. Good Luck

See if it's blowing out the defroster-vents also.
If so, Might be one of the blend doors not closing
properly. Crud in the Evap/heater-core box not allowing
the door to close or, not open all the way.
By the way,.. Those blend-doors pivot on two little plastic studs.
The can break very easy. That could cause the doors not to act correctly.

This is my 1st post so I hope it helps you guys. I had the same problem this week. After much digging I realized that it was because my evapartor coil was filthy, big time. And it wasn't allowing all the air from the blower to pass thrru the coils and in turn very little air out of the vents. I used a spray foam coil cleaner and it worked great for mine. On the passenger side floor board look under the dash and you will see a half dollar size plastic cover with wires comming out of it. Remove it and get a light and take a peek inside to see coils. I sprayed the foam directly into that hole as best I could a couple times and it did the trick for me. Oh mine is a 2002 model
so i think this might be dirty but i dont know what do u guys think

EDIT: i did pull a couple of pine needles out when i opened it so it could also be clogged, im gonna go to home depot and get the can of ac cleaner and if it works ill do a write up for it
