Default Another Tranny Question...

My truck feels like i hit a cat every time i shift. Today it threw me up out of the seat when I put it in drive... It's like i have it reved when I shift at all...

It seems to happen more when the truck is not hot... I checked the fluid and it was a little low so I filled it up but it didn't help any.

Anyone got ideas?

Thanks man. This is the only big thing thats left wrong with it.

It doesn't creep in drive either lol. But I'm thinking thats the same problem whatever it is. It's like it has no torque at all.

Damn dodge trannys lol mine is on the way out it feels like it doesnt have any torque off the start like before if I was stopped and in D I could stomp the throttle and it would burn a bit of rubber now it like wont unless its in 1st or I make a turn but Im saving up a few hundred bucks and im doing a 5 speed swap no more autos for me.

It really all depends where you live there is some people on here that did it for around 600 and others around 1,500 I expect to do mine the right way for about 700-800
