so what is the bulb number for the dash lights again and how many are needed for my 04

 

Sounds like you got a set of bad diodes. Just order new ones and be happy...unless you like the dull light. More chips arent necessarily the answer. One LED can put out a giant amount of light at low draw(the whole point of using them), but cheap ones are just junk. Its like going from 80s LEDs to the jumbo screens of today.

Im waiting for someone to ask for a footcandle measurement....ha!

 

you have 5 lights under the dash, atleast that's what thunder told me, i am ordering led dash lights too

 

well i have a diffrent dash too

 

there are 5 lights behind the dash and 2 additional ones for your directionals. i bought leds from here http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...ini-wedge.html its the first ones when you scroll down and its WLEDx6. with that i also got the sockets if you scroll all the way down they are the twist and lock ones. i bought blue lights cause i was tired of the green but they look good and were fairly cheap

 

i wish i had a front console light like you guys do, i only have the back cab light. probably because my dakota is a sport model? its weird too because i only have power mirrors, but manual windows and locks.

what led bulbs are needed for the climate control lights and how many then i was reading on there page and they said the turn signal indicator bulbs may need a special piece for them has somebody installed them in the turn signal slots and had any problems

 

i forget where i read it but someone on here looked into getting the climate control ones and said you can only get them through dodge? idk why but i remember reading it.

 

i thought we needed the 360 type? the hp5 ones?
