Question Window regulator 2000 Dodge Dakota 4WD 4.7 V8

I just removed and replaced my driver's side window regulator, it is the scissor type, not the cable type. I pushed the window glass down solidly into the tracks, The tracks are 2 six inch long pieces that attach to each arm of the new regulator with one nut on each. I reconnected all the electrical and rolled the window up and it worked great!

My problem is when I rolled the window back down it came off track! Any suggestions? Is there an adjustment that needs to be made? Is there some other clip that I'm missing? I didn't see anything else in the door when I removed the old regulator. I used the old tracks, as the new regulator didn't come with them. Should I get new tracks? It looks like there was some kind of adhesive in the old tracks, is that my problem? If so what kind of adhesive should I use? Thanks in advance for helping a girl out!
