Cool i hate everything chrome.

i finally caved and deciede to tint my tails w/ vht nightshade. i did 2 coats and its alot darker then i expected. i didn't clear em because i don't want it shinier then the rest of the truck lol, i think it matchs the trim well.

another thing i did was paint my side steps. i hated these things and took them off the first week i got the truck. they were a bare aluminum
and looked like an old fishing boat. what do yall think now?

it looks so much darker in the shade. in the light the red is still reflective.
but didn't u use 2 coats wtf happened? lol guess i have a heavy trigger finger

yea i think i did 2 or 3 light coats and like 5 coats of clear

i did 3 coats and no clear. i to didnt want the shine. besides during the day the red shows through better without the shine on them. looks good daksport!!

5 coats on mine, u prolly did them real heavy, i need to do more clear on mine to makem shiney

i thought i went to dark but when i looked at them at night they look fine.
i took these pics when i was out tonight. and thats when my right running light went out. blinker and brake work just not parking light. i'll open it tomorrow and tape up the connections or something.

yep i was thinking about that. if the plastidip can hold up on the steps
it could hold up anywhere. flares look they come off easy so thats
next.
