Exclamation cant afford any more problems

yup, dakota playing games with me again.

went offroading and 5 minutes in, i get a horrible noise *see videos*

i know the drivers side tie rod end boot is ripped but i dont think its causing the noise. no pulling while breaking and steering wheel has no vibrations. i think its only in 4x4. first time using 4x4 after changing front diff and tcase fluid.

wise man says you gotta pay to play. so if you cant afford a breakage then dont beat on it!

anyway, sounds like one of the front axles is not seated all the way in the diff, or you stripped its threads.

I would jack up the truck and see if there is any play in those axles

so is this noise all the time? If so I would either put it on jack stands(be very careful when doing this) and run the truck see if you can pin point the noise and rack it much nicer when doing this or have someone drive or walk beside while you drive it and try to pinpoint it that way

Almost like something in TC is messed up or some part that has lots of torque but I've never heard that noise before. Have you tried out 4x4 again since? its kinda like it wasnt engaged the whole way or something im stumped
