Anyone have suggestions for quality

First time buyin' tires for the truck so not sure if there's anything out of the usual I should be considering...

I DONT WANT TO HEAR THE WORD WINTER AGAIN FOR THE NEXT 3 MONTHS!!!!!
Haha but really it kinda depends on what size and how much you have to spend personally If it were me and need new tires I would just get a all terrain tire and just be done with it throw a lil weight in the bed and you will be good

LOL yea I hear ya about the winter thing...
I know it's early but I'm trying to figure out a cost/budget.

I planned to throw some weight in the back, but maybe I'll just look for a good set of AT.

Well it just makes more sense to me to stick with one tire then to either have to get your old ones off and put snow tires on or get a different set of rims and put them on. If your going the at route then you have little bit more options and prices Bfg's at,hankook atm, toyo open country A/T those are just a few that are a good tire But I still prefer my bfg's they never let me down.

Winter tires make a big difference. If you drive with them you can tell. Seeing you are in Canada I don't blame you for wanting them. I spend winters in Vermont and there are times where the road doesn't see pavement (or dirt) for days even weeks depending on the winter.

Cooper Discoverer M/S are great snow tires, as are the Firestone Winterforce. I would look into those.

All terrians do okay in the snow, but once you drive with snowtires they don't seem so great anymore, especially studded ones.

My almost bald bfgs did well this winter here in the mtns of pa once I put 4wd in I could do 50 with out a prob even trying to spin with snow on the road was pretty hard. So if my bald tires did that good would like to try a set of snow tires just to see how they do but I cant see myself buying snow tires and a set of bfg's I would be looking at like 1500 just for tires

Yea, that's the problem really.

Snow's for the truck are nearly worth my left nut...
I was looking at the Winterforce from Tirerack, but the cost of shipping puts them more than what my mechanic can get me a set of winters for ... installed.

probably not the same brand at all, but winter tires are expensive.

I live in Burleson, TX (DFW area) and though winters aren't bad, it does ice up a little. I run Yoko GeoLandar's and they have never let me down. Up where your at I'm not sure, but there is my $.02.
