Yeah, I can't say enough how glad I was to get a 5 speed again.

Looks good Brad. I am glad you like the deck and if there are any more questions about it shoot me a PM. I have a post on here with pics of my new Sony deck too, and it is really cool. It sounds great and the Ipod integration on it is really good. The only thing I wish the Sony had is switchable illumination-my dash lights are green but the lights on the Sony are blue. No big deal though, it sounds great.

My truck is also a 5-speed. Automatics seem unnatural to me and I will not own an automatic if I can help it. Enjoy your new Alpine. I think the one you bought from me is actually better than the Alpine decks that are out for sale now. I shopped and looked at the new Alpine lineup and just didn't like them too much. They are too complicated to operate and seemed to me to be hard to use while driving. Plus the tone controls are a lot better on the one you bought from me.

If there are any problems let me know.

Jimmy

I completely agree, the newer Alpines are getting too complicated, as are a lot of newer units out there. I do like how it can illuminate different colors. I like the amber a lot...

I also agree about automatics. I sucks that you can't hardly even get a manual truck anymore. Especially an American made truck.
