Default Clutch is making loud sqeaky noise...

i have a 01 dakota 4.7L v8 5 spd, it recently started to make a loud sqeaking noise everytime i push the clutch in, has anyone had this problem before? is it a simple fix i can do on my own or am i going to need to take it somewhere?

Can you tell if its the Clutch itself making the squeek or is it just the Pedal? if its just the pedal....WD40 should hook you up.

If its the actual clutch....it could be a few things. Check your clutch fluid resevoir...make sure its not low on fluid....other than that....id probably wont be pretty.

Kinda hard to tell you without hearing it. Can you also hear it outside of your truck if you do might be the slave or master cylinder

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kd8snlIR43o does it sound like this? this is what mine was doing and it was the slave cylinder however you have to replace the slave and master as a whole and its not to hard just a lot of snaking through tight space if it sounds like this let me know and i'll get you more info or you can ask me more questions.
