Default ball joints and bushings: for 2001 dodge dakota sport 4x4 quad cab?

Looking to replace my upper and lower ball joints on my 01 dakota sport 4x4 quad cab, and wanted to ask what the best were and the cheapest price? I was looking at moog greasables,

also wanted to change out my upper and lower controll arm bushings, any suggestions?

my truck drives like complete crap, bumps all over the road even on a smooth road, and feels really bouncy!

Moog is the best but are also the most expensive. I used TRW for my lowers and Autozone Duralast for the uppers. Duralast are made by TRW anyway but cost half the price of TRW's. Have not had any problems with either one. I put Moog sway bar bushings on, they are probably the best for the control arm bushings too. My truck is a 2 wheel drive though.

Thanks for the input, appreciated! I will have to check with autozone and a few places, before i go the moog route!

will prolly go with moog all the way around just because they are pretty decent, but yeah, the cost is a bit more.

Go with moog. If I were you id also do the Inner and Outter tie rods while you have everything apart, they are the cause of alot of noise. Go with moog for tierods as well.

Hey just a tip, check your steering shaft u-joint just above the steering box. These all get loose on the dodges, ( Dakota, Darango ) and can make your truck drive like crap. Have someone move the steering wheel back and forth slightly while your watching. good luck

so today i changed out the upper ball joint, and inner and outer tie rod on the right side! (inner tie rod was a bitch to loosen and i need to have the mechanic do a quick once over on all my bolts especially the inner tie rods!) was not that hard after i purchased a few more tools that were required!

one thing i do need info on, which both the original dodge factory manual and haynes manuals confused me about:

how in the world do you take out the half shaft/cv joint? i tried for ever due to the lowers neeeding me to remove this because it was in the way and i could not take it off?

Also, i had ordered from an auto place on line that starts with a "rock" and i received my stuff and i found they had sent me one of the wrong ball joints, so i go out today and find they also sent me 2 inner tie rods i had ordered, and one was ALSO wrong!1

WTF man it is set back and it sucks!

hope fully i can also find out how to get my hubs off? they would not come off no matter what i did!?
