Hi all, I am looking at a 98 Dakota Club cab 4x4 with the 5.2 that is currently running but tranny isnt functioning. I may be able to get it for a few hundred $. I was hoping some of you would be able to tell me some things to look for, to see if i can get this truck moving without too much work. The current owner says they had someone install a used tranny in it, but it wouldnt move once they did. They said it just makes a clicking sound when they put it in drive, I havent heard it yet but was hoping some of you might have thoughts on what i could check for.
