just a quick question for yall, except for myself and 00daksport, nobody tinted the reverse light part of the tails. is that to pass state inspection or to acually see when you back up? i put high watt bulbs in mine after i sprayed them just for others to see my b-u lights on. with my window tint as dark as it is i cant see sh#t when im backing up anyway. windows down and a back up cam is how i roll backwards. lol

Looks and so people can see if I'm backing up. I also didn't tint the 3rd brake light just in case.

i didn't tint mine cause i didn't like the way it looked having that tinted and i like the contrast, same boat as u on the tint, luckily i got the slider window so i can just open that, ill eventually get one of the back up cams just haven't gotten around to it

and in my state, it dont matter if i tint the reverse light, ill still fail just for having the brake lights tinted, luckily i got a spare set of lights i got off ebay for practically nothing for inspection time

I'm thinking of putting a slight tint on my LED strip on my tailgate... It is currently clear so you can see all of the LEDs in it

No emissions here! I'm so giddy right now I found out u can actually pass inspection here without a muffler as long as u got a cat they count it as the muffling device well us guys with the 4.7 got three cats lol so that muffler is getting cut the f outa there lol

i tinted over everything cause i didn't want any white or chrome left. the reverse lights didn't work before i tinted, still need to get bulbs. i just stick my head out the window if i have to. the cab/bed light still works even with it blacked out.

i passed inspection not to long ago with everything tinted.
