engine code 302- rough idle
Hi...I'm new to the forum. I have the check engine code #302. So I swapped #1 coil to #2..but still have the error code, could the injector be the culprit?
It sucks because i loaned my 2001 Dakota 4.7 to roomie and THEN the code came on!! I love my truck,,, but i might have to strangle my friend!!!
Thanx for any input!!

just my opinion, clear the code via a code reader. if it still returns, i would say its the injector. either it got a quick blockage or it went to crap on you. i am sure there will be more input(better input) after mine. btw, welcome to the forum! you will find this forum most informative.
the only advice i can offer is to disconnect the negative side of the battery terminal for a few minutes to reset the computer. then after about 2 days of driving see if it comes back. it probably wont pop up right away, the pcm needs to learn the new settings which takes like 6 starts.
the ecm and pcm and bcm need to see 3 cycles of no codes to clear itself. unless you clear it with a reader. i do believe a cycle is more than 20 miles on a run. disconnecting the battery does not clear hard codes in the ecm.
haha,
