when i first got my truck i was a total noob and i bought autolites double platinum spark plugs. i ended up spending like 70 bucks on plugs. not worth it. good luck!

Thanks, Thunder98110!! I'll post back when all is done this weekend (hopefully). We'll be getting some high winds and rain from hurricane Earl. He better not mess up my tune-up!!

Twitchy.....I'm glad I posted this thread too!! These guys have really helped me out!! Not only did they help me with which parts to buy, they gave detailed info on why. This is great for me because, being a female, I need the detailed info. Especially if I'm going to do work myself. Glad you were able to find the info you needed.

Did anybody not notice the typo?

Do you mean 3.7?

Do the 3.7 and 4.7s take different plugs than the 3.9/5.2/5.9?
