i have a 97 dakota and need to know if it has a cutoff on the trans when you get below empty on the fuel and does it cause the trans to not shiftsomeone please let me know

 

If you get REAL low on fuel, your motor will bog when you step on the gas. This will interrupt the regular smooth communication and could lead to the tranny not shifting.

Does this fit your scenario?

Put some gas in it and see if it still does it?

 

this helped its running fine dont know why dodge would do that i thought i had a major trans problem
