Need some advice replacing the Power Steering Pressure Switch
Just a little background as I am a new user: I just bought a 2000 dodge dakota sport with 103k miles on it, monday night. On the way home(~a hour drive) the engine light came on. I had it checked and it gave the P0551 code. From extensive searching I found the most common fix was to replace this part.
I have located it and bought the replacement. I'm fairly new to fixing things myself as opposed to taking it to a mechanic(I'm only 17). I would really like to not mess up anything while trying to replace this, it seems fairly simple. Although I would just like to be sure as it is a new vehicle to me.

looking at my haynes manual its pretty easy. just unscrew it with a 7/16 or something its the same size as the o2 sensor socket for our trucks. just have a bunch of rags and bucket to collect the stuff that will come out.
i think thats right. i looked at that section like 2 months back and thats what i remember it saying. i had the same code but it went away.
