Thanks. It was worth the effort. It was also a good learning experience. I took more pictures of how I positioned the LEDs in the vents. I doubt that there is much demand for a DIY guide on LED lighting lol

I actually have 2 long and 1 short white tubes just for this purpose, but my drop in bedliner appears to be in the way on the sides because it has a lip that tucks up behind the rail (probably to help hold it in place). I got these tubes from a buddy. I am going to look into wiring them up as well and put them on a switch right next to the switch I just added. You mentioning this the other day really made me want to get serious about making it happen. Especially since my only cost would be another switch $7'ish (I already have the appropriate wiring and the lights). However, I am not sure how these tubes "mount". If there was some kind of mounting solution provided with them, I don't have it.

Well you sure your bedliner is in the way I know mine has a lip also but it stays tight with the side of the bed so its not a problem and what about using 3m's double sided foam tape. That stuff sticks to anything.

No. The tube lights and the single LED bulbs get their power from a switch I installed. The power for the switch comes from the cigarette lighter wiring. Once I put the panels all back on, you won't see any wires.

Are these private citizens in their vehicles? Or are these official vehicles?
