Angry '02 4.7 trouble starting when hot

Ok guys, I've done a thread search with no helping finding a similar issue that I'm experiencing.

I've got an '02 Quad Cab with a 4.7L and 45 RFE. It has about 128K miles.
My problem:
This Summer the temps have been very hot (> 90 degrees F). I can get in and the truck starts up just fine. I then drive it down the rode for a while and go into a place to do some shopping ( sometimes get in, get out 5 minutes +/-). This even happens when I stop to get gas. I go to start it back up and it will not turn over, even though all the gauges are on. I can play with the key, the gear shifter, and turn off the A/C and fan, still nothing happens. When I go and press the brake pedal, it will sometimes start right up, and other times nothing. I can open the side fuse panel and remove and reinstall the ign and starter fuses and it will start up. Other times it will do nothing. I give a few more minutes and it finally starts after pressing the brake pedal.

It makes no sense to me. I've checked the main fuse block in the engine bay and everything is ok. Wondering if anyone has had this same problem, or has a fix for my issue (other than moving to a cooler climate ). Not sure if it has something to do with a brake pedal sensor or what. Now the temps are coming down (< 90 degrees F), and I'm not having the same problem.

This is very annoying and worrysome; especially when I've got my kids in the truck with me and it is over 90 degrees out.
