help!!!

Does anybody have a 5 speed floor shifter out of a 2002 3.9 Dakota. Put a new tranny in my 2000 5.9 and **** on the bottom of the shifter is a 1/2" to long and will not let it shift. please email at dwclapper@embarqmail.com

and its off a v8 but as long as you have a nv3500 its the same tranny

Found out today the only difference between the V6 and the V8 is the shift tower. I need the one for a V6. The one that was in the truck ( V8 ) is 1/4" to long and when bolted down will not shift. 1st and 2nd is ok but the others won't shift. Are you going to WACC , I did two years there for Carpentry way back in 72

Look up any auto parts recyclers in your area and give them a shot. I have a huge one near me here in Tampa, FL called Greenleaf of Tampa
