Default Transmission Problem

Hi all, I have a question about my transmission on a 1998 Dakota sport 3.9L. Today I replaced the rear axle speed sensor, the transmission output shaft speed sensor and also replaced the filter and the fluid. The transmission doe snot know when to shift sometimes. Such as, it will shift into second just fine and then stay there no matter what the tach reads and not shift to the next gear. The fact that it will run normal sometimes leads me to believe it is not the transmission but perhaps a sensor of some type. Anybody want to shoot in the dark and give some suggestions?

Sorry man. Sometimes Transmissions can be finicky and complicated. Sorry nobody could give you any ideas. I don't know anything other than the bare basics about transmissions.
