Default Can you get the fog lights to fill the voids on the SXT?

I just bought a Dakota SXT. Im wondering if it's possible to get the factory fog lamps on the lower front bumpers of the higher models. Is it possible to cut out the voids and install them on my SXT? Has anyone ever done this?

I'm new here, but I have an 02 Dakota SXT, and I would like to do this too, if possible.

I haven't done this yet on my SXT, but intend to. The thing is, our headlight switches don't contain a setting for the fog lights so you'll have to either run them off a currently existing switch or add one for yourself. It's definitely doable

if you wanted to add stock ones it would be a bigger hassle. with piaas or KC they have a all wiring and switch that you need. so its a 30 minute job.

I was thinking of trying to find a stock headlight switch with the fog light feature from a junk yard and swapping it with mine. Is this possible?

It's also feasible to get a wireless relay for your lights. Very inexpensive (about $15) and they come with 2 key fobs. No need to run wire and cut for a switch.

The cool thing is if you have the HomeLink feature in your truck, you can program the buttons to turn your lights off and on with the wireless relay as well.

I did this on my aftermarket lights on my Grand Cherokee... I've got a write up in the Jeep section...

wow, that's pretty cool. Never knew about those things.

BTW, does anybody know of any aftermarket fog lights that fit in the bumpers perfectly?
